Before the Hünenweg leads you out of the town of Bramsche and into the countryside, it's worth visiting the 900-year-old Church of St. Martin or the Tuchmachermuseum.

Your hike will lead you over gentle hills through Gehnwald forest to Ueffeln. The heaths, which bloom during the season, invite you take a break on one of the benches. Shortly before you reach the small village, you'll arrive at a quarry where quartzite continues to be extracted to this day. Part of the quarry is closed off and gradually being reclaimed by nature.
