This day stage will take you to the Ankum Heights, which were created from Ice Age sands and gravel pushed here by a huge glacier around 200,000 years ago.

In this idyllic area, you'll fine a large number of granite boulders which form the basis for the megalithic sites along the route.
The Wiemelsberger Stones shortly after Ueffeln are among the best preserved sites in Osnabrück Land. In the Landesmuseum Hannover, you can visit the archeological finds from this grave, such as amber, jewellery and stone tools.
After this, the route will lead you into Bühren Forest, along other impressive burial sites from the Bronze Age.
